We began in Italy’s Amalfi Coast, the kind of place you’ve seen in movies but can’t truly imagine until you’re there. Our suit overlooked the sea, with lemon trees draping over the terrace and the faint scent of espresso in the morning air. Dawn had arranged everything, from a private driver who somehow made those cliffside roads feel peaceful, to a dinner reservation we didn’t even know what to ask for.

From there, the trip unfolded naturally no rushing, no decisions to make, just quiet anticipation for what was next. We sailed across the Adriatic to Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor ; a place we’d never even considered before Dawn suggested it. It turned out to be our favorite stop.

The bay looked like a watercolor painting, still waters, stone churches, and the kind of silence that feels sacred.
